PLO: Tüür.Puur.Beethoven

  • Pärnu concert hall (map)

Pärnu City Orchestras 28th season opening concert introduces the themes for the new season: new commissions of instrumental concertos combined with core symphonic repertoire.

The opening program includes the world premiere of Rasmus Puur’s new violin concerto, written especially for Linda-Anete Verte.

As the world celebrates Beethovens 250th anniversary, PLO opens the concert with an hommage to Beethoven, “Phantasma” by Erkki-Sven Tüür and with the ever fresh symphony no.7 by Beethoven.
